Civ 5 Map Mods
The best Civ mods range from total conversions—transforming historical Earth into the world of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire or Elder Scrolls’ Tamriel—to tools that improve AI or tweak animations. Here are the 15 best Civilization V mods, broken up into three helpful categories. Skyrim for example does it on startup. In Civ 5 you have to go to the mods area in the game in the main menu (under multiplayer) and that should download the mods.
REQUIRES SKSE This modification adds a continent the size of Solstheim to Skyrim, complete with it's own map, fortress, NPC's with schedules, and LOD. You can arrive to this continent via the portal placed by Streik, in Riverwood, near the stone bridge. Watch the video to see how to get into town once you use the portal.
